Mr. Chassman has 25 years of experience in the entertainment broadcast television, online media industries as a seasoned management and marketing executive.
He grew up in Los Angeles and began his career as an agent trainee with the William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills. After working in talent management for five years Mr. Chassman transitioned into broadcast television where he became the youngest VP/General Manager of a group of ABC affiliated television stations responsible for returning the business to profitability after acquiring it from receivership.
He has a proven track record having created and managed profitable growth for major online media companies. For seven years starting in 1999, Mr. Chassman lead America Online’s Midwest selling and business development efforts as their Regional Vice President building and managing a team of 35 people to fulfill the needs of national brand advertisers, resulting in $70 million in top-line revenues.
Mr. Chassman brings skills in the relatively new area of “social marketing” having been the forty third employee and Regional Vice President for social media phenomenon Facebook.
In all of Mr. Chassman’s media endeavors he’s been the lead interface between the company and marketer accountable for revenue and share performance along with influencing how the company fulfilled the needs of viewers and advertisers.
Mr. Chassman holds a marketing degree from San Diego State University and in 2004 was a contributing author to a widely used training book on “Media Selling”.
