The Freedom Fund is our apprenticeship and training fund that equips an expanded number of women with the skills, support, and confidence they need to earn a sustainable livelihood. 100% of your donation goes directly to this apprenticeship program.

Why the Freedom Fund matters
Many women who need life-changing work don’t yet have the technical skills required to qualify for a MADE FREE job. At the same time, much of the fashion industry still relies on low-wage, high-risk work that keeps people trapped in cycles of poverty and exploitation. The Freedom Fund bridges this gap. Your donation supports a 12-month residential apprenticeship program where women receive a safe, dignified place to live, healthy meals, outdoor recreation and community life, English language studies and life skills, a modest income for incidentals, and a supportive community and healthy work culture.
At the end of the program, graduates are ready to step into skilled, fairly paid roles making MADE FREE products for the global market.
What she learns through your support
During the 12-month apprenticeship, women receive hands-on training from experienced leaders in pattern making and machine stitching, basic fashion design and construction, leather cutting and stitching, and bag and accessory construction. Through daily practice, coaching, and proven quality systems, students grow in skill and confidence, graduating as certified makers ready for long-term work.

Your gift can help provide housing and healthy meals so she can focus on learning, tuition-free training in a safe, supportive environment, the tools and materials needed to learn and practice her craft, and a clear pathway into a livable-wage job after graduation. $150 provides for 1 month of program for 1 student
$450 provides for 3 months of program for 1 student
$900 provides for 6 months of program for 1 student
$1,800 provides full funding of complete program for 1 student
